JOE BLATTNER

FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

Joe has been investing in and developing commercial and multi-family real estate for over three decades. His development resume includes more than 40 million square feet of industrial, multifamily, retail, and office projects.

His creativity, experience and determination have been critical to many successful and diverse projects over the past 30 years throughout the Puget Sound.

BEN VARIN

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Ben joined Avenue 55 in 2022 where he is responsible for the development and construction of industrial and mixed-use projects in the greater Puget Sound area. Prior to joining Avenue 55, Ben spent five years in construction project management with Howard S. Wright, a Seattle based general contractor.

Ben graduated with a B.S. in Construction Management from Washington State University.

MONTE SWANSON

CONTROLLER

Monte joined Avenue 55 in 2022 as Controller where he is responsible for overall day-to-day leadership and oversight of the accounting practices, policies, procedures, and information systems for the company.

Prior to joining Avenue 55, Monte worked for other privately owned entities that are primarily real estate related. Monte graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from Linfield University.

NICK YAWMAN

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Nick joined Avenue 55 in 2020 where he handles all aspects of the development cycle including feasibility, design, entitlement, and construction of industrial projects, primarily in Northern Nevada.

Prior to Avenue 55, Nick spent two years working for a CMBS underwriting and due diligence firm as a Senior Analyst where he underwrote approximately $500 million of first lien mortgage loans across all asset classes. Nick graduated with a B.A. in Finance from Santa Clara University.

SAM BLATTNER

INVESTMENT MANAGER

Sam joined Avenue 55 in 2021 where he handles the procurement and management of Debt and Equity partnerships, as well as lifecycle underwriting responsibilities for new and existing projects.

Prior to joining Avenue 55, Sam spent four years as an Associate on the Real Estate Investment & Development Team at Columbia Pacific Advisors, a Seattle based alternative asset manager with over $2 billion in AUM, where he assisted in both Acquisitions and Asset Management. Sam graduated with a B.A. in Finance from Santa Clara University.
